Constance's eternal battle against the waves was going well, as far as she was concerned. The water hadn't gotten more than the bottoms of her feet wet. Ha. Stupid water. It was so predictable. She darted out again, sinking her toes into the sand. Suddenly, a sharp pinch latched onto her foot. She yelped and flung herself backward. A jump and a graceful (if a bit off-kilter) backflip flung the aggressor out of the sand and up onto the beach.[break][break]

"Woah! Look, guys, Connie found a Clauncher!" The Rotom Phone swiveled around to where Wicke was pointing, zooming in on the grumpy lobster. The screen automatically displayed the Pokemon's information as an overlay on the stream, reading it out in a robotic voice: Clauncher, the Water Gun Pokémon. Clauncher fires compressed water from the arm gun on its right claw and damages foes with the impact from the water. "It's got some spunk, but this isn't what we're looking for today. Still, good opportunity for training. Sorry, little guy! Connie, hit it with a Double Kick." The Raboot nodded, leaping towards the Clauncher. The first kick sent it flying up into the air and the second launched it out into the water. That was where it belonged. Wicke raised his fists triumphantly. "Goaaaaal!"

The ripples from the Clauncher's splashdown were receding as Wicke took a knee beside his Raboot. The Rotom Phone drifted around them, zooming in as Wicke took Connie's foot in his hand and gave it a good once-over. It didn't look like there were any obvious injuries, though she'd probably have a bruise tomorrow.[break][break]

"Looks like the old girl's still in fighting shape. That reminds me," he turned to look into the Rotom Phone's camera again. "If you type exclamation point potions into the chat, it will link to my Koff-fi. Any donations made there go right to the fund for meds and items for my team. Thanks as always for your supp—pfft!" Wicke was interrupted by a flurry of tiny wings in his face, attached to a Riombee that, in his excitement, he nearly swallowed. He scrambled backwards, flailing his hands violently against his face. "PFFFFT! Connie! Help!"[break][break]

Connie was useless. She'd already fallen into a giggling fit, rolling onto the ground and howling with laughter. The Riombee grumped and buzzed, clearly displeased that it'd almost been eaten. It gave Wicke one more flutter of its wings for good measure before zipping away.

With the Riombee gone (hopefully), Wicke picked himself up off the sand, dusting off his pants. He cut his eyes at Connie, albeit with an air of comedy. "You could've helped!" The Raboot paused, looked at him, and resumed her cackling. Wicke held his stare for just a moment longer before he, too, dissolved into laughing. He glanced at the screen on the Rotom Phone and waved a hand. "I'm fine, I'm fine."[break][break]

At the sound of the laughter, a Comfey drifted out from the beach grass along the shore. It drifted hesitantly over to Constance, spinning in a lazy loop. The Raboot didn't notice until the Comfey was a few inches from her. When Connie opened her eyes, she reflexively jolted away, causing the Comfey to do the same.[break][break]

"Oh! Look, guys!" Wicke pointed and the Rotom Phone swiveled to capture the scene for the livestream. "Let's see what happens." Connie relaxed as soon as she realized the Comfey was peaceful, and the Fairy-type drifted over again. Connie reached out and they touched hesitantly, causing the Comfey to trill and twirl. It spun in faster and faster circles, drifting up before draping itself around the Raboot's neck. Connie blinked, glancing over to Wicke. He shrugged and chuckled. "Sometimes it's that easy. We weren't hunting for a Comfey, but I think she can come home with us." The Rotom Phone twisted around to face him. "That means it's the end of the stream. We'll have a training session soon.
